April 14, 2020. I love a new snowfall in the spring. When the sun comes out, everything is so clean and bright — it makes me feel clean and bright. Camp Many Moons sparkles. Jeff’s 1948 Ford Tractor looks even more iconic. The wood piles look more charming. Even the ditch looks inviting. Locals who have lived through a long winter are not charmed by this snowfall, but I’ve arrived just six weeks ago and I love it! The days are longer now, so we don’t face the dreary prospect of a 4 p.m. sunset. On days like this, I feel my breath deepen. On days like this, I feel the urge to dance. On days like this, I want to stay outside all day.
